Common questions

Do you set it up, or do I?

We deliver, set up and run a full test of every piece of equipment before we leave. You won't need to touch a cable.

What if something fails on the night?

All equipment is tested before it leaves us, and we carry backups for critical items such as microphones. For events with a technician booked, we're on hand to resolve it on the spot.

Do I need to book a technician?

Only if you'd like one. Most celebrations and small weddings need just the one control that matters — we show you that on setup. Corporate events usually benefit from someone on-site.

How far ahead should I book?

4-6 weeks is ideal, particularly for weekend weddings in peak season — but do get in touch even if your event is close. We'll always try to help.

Is delivery included?

Delivery within 15 miles of Chester is included — see coverage above. Further afield, we'll quote it plainly and upfront.

Are you insured, and is the equipment PAT tested?

Yes — we carry £5m public liability insurance and every item is PAT certified. Certificates are available on request, which venues sometimes ask for.

Do you cover Cheshire East, the Wirral and North Wales, or just Chester?

All of the above. Chester is our base, but we regularly hire PA and AV equipment across Cheshire West, Cheshire East, the Wirral and North Wales — see the full list of areas above, and ask if yours isn't on it.
